About Ad-Base Group, Inc.
During 1992 Ad-Base, Inc. was formed as a holding company which did business as Computer Comfort (www.computercomfort.com), an outsourced information technology systems integrator. In 2001 Ad-Base formed the DBA PghConnect as its retail ISP providing internet related services to end users. Lastly in 2002 the DBA GlobalPOPs was created for the wholesale dial-up products and services. To better organize the company, management decided to spin each product line out into its own legal entity. Effective January 1, 2006 Ad-Base formed three separate wholly-owned subsidiaries, GlobalPOPs Inc, Computer Comfort Inc, and End User Services Inc. Two additional subsidiaries, GlobalPOPs Media Services, Inc. and VeraText, Inc. were formed in early 2007 and have begun to generate revenue during the second quarter of 2007.
"This year Ad-Base has completed the transformation from a technology based company to an investor/incubator in early stage ideas. We believe we are poised for an exciting future and are anticipating funding two or three additional ideas this year. Thus it is was my desire to relocate to an area that will be easily accessible for our people yet still give us the room to expand in the future," said Jeff Tapolci.
