  2. "We're pleased to be recognized as one of the top 100 fastest-growing companies in Pittsburgh", said Judy Tapolci, who founded the company with her husband Jerry in 1986. "We've been able to achieve rapid growth in spite of weak economic conditions. We think that is a reflection of providing a superior customer experience for every customer."

Now in its seventh year, the Pittsburgh 100 is a comprehensive ranking of companies by percentage increase in sales and employment over a three-year period. To qualify for this year's competition, a business had to achieve $500,000 in revenue in 2000, and increase its 2002 sales over the previous year. Pittsburgh 100 companies represent a wide variety of categories, including Technology, Environmental, Health Care, Manufacturing, Real Estate/Construction/Development, Retail/Wholesale Distribution and Service.
